Becoming a member of the Big Country Flute Club entails several benefits. You will:

-have the opportunity to play in a flute choir/chamber ensemble

-receive discounted pricing on educational materials and compositions

-be able to attend all flute club concerts and events for free

-have the opportunity to compete in event competitions at a discounted price

 

There will be 1 flute day event and 2 flute choir concerts every year. We periodically host masterclasses with guests from the DFW area as well as other surrounding areas. We accept members of all ages, but an audition is required for entry into the flute choir. If there are enough interested members, we may be able to split into 2 groups, one of which would not require an audition. There are also officer and board of director positions available for high school, college, and adult members who want to be more active in the organization.

There are 4 different levels to flute club membership and all but one include the price of flute choir participation. Group pricing is available upon request. They are:

K-12 student - $20 per semester/$35 per school year

College students* - $30 per semester/$55 per school year

Adult (amateur & professional) - $40 per semester/$75 per school year

Non-choir member - $20 per year
